Community Guidelines
Effective Date: March 14, 2026 · Last Updated: March 14, 2026
ReDuel is a competitive gaming entertainment platform built for creators and fans. These Community Guidelines exist to ensure a fair, respectful, and safe experience for everyone. All users — fans, creators, and staff — are expected to follow these standards. Violations will result in enforcement actions up to and including permanent account termination.
1. Fair Play & Match Integrity
Competitive integrity is the foundation of ReDuel. All matches must be played honestly and decided on merit.
1.1 Prohibited in Matches
- • Use of cheats, hacks, exploits, aimbots, wallhacks, or any unauthorized third-party tools or modifications
- • Intentionally losing, soft-playing, or otherwise manipulating match outcomes ("match-fixing")
- • Having another person play on your behalf ("ghosting" or account boosting)
- • Using network manipulation (lag switching, DDoS) to gain an advantage
- • Using stream sniping (watching your opponent's stream to gain information) unless explicitly allowed by both parties
- • Exploiting known game bugs or unintended mechanics to gain an unfair advantage
1.2 Required for Creators
- • Stream all accepted challenges publicly on a supported platform (Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Kick)
- • Honor accepted challenges — repeated no-shows will result in Creator status revocation
- • Report any match integrity concerns immediately to integrity@reduel.xyz
- • Disclose any personal relationships with opponents when relevant to prediction markets
2. Prediction Market Integrity
Prediction markets rely on genuine, independent decision-making. Manipulating markets undermines the entire platform.
- • No Market Manipulation: Coordinated buying/selling to artificially move prices is prohibited
- • No Insider Trading: Betting on outcomes you have material, non-public information about (e.g., a creator knowing they'll forfeit) is prohibited
- • No Wash Trading: Placing opposing predictions to artificially inflate volume or circumvent rules
- • No Collusion: Coordinating with other users to rig prediction outcomes or split profits
- • No Bot Trading: Using automated scripts, bots, or algorithms to place predictions
- • No Structuring: Breaking transactions into smaller amounts to avoid reporting thresholds or detection
Market surveillance is conducted continuously. Suspicious patterns are investigated and reported to regulators where required.
3. Respect & Safety
3.1 Zero Tolerance
The following result in immediate account termination with no appeal:
- • Threats of violence, including threats against other users, creators, staff, or their families
- • Child exploitation content or grooming behavior of any kind
- • Doxxing — sharing another user's private information (real name, address, phone, workplace, school)
- • Encouraging self-harm, suicide, or substance abuse
3.2 Prohibited Behavior
- • Harassment: Sustained targeting, bullying, intimidation, or stalking of any user
- • Hate Speech: Slurs, derogatory language, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, age, or disability
- • Sexual Content: Sexually explicit messages, images, or solicitation
- • Extreme Violence: Graphic violence, gore, or glorification of real-world violence
- • Impersonation: Posing as another user, creator, public figure, or ReDuel staff
- • Spam: Sending unsolicited messages, advertisements, or promotional content
- • Misinformation: Deliberately spreading false match results or market-moving information
3.3 Competitive Communication
We understand that competitive gaming involves banter and trash talk. This is part of gaming culture and is generally acceptable when it stays competitive and playful. However, trash talk crosses the line when it becomes personal, targets protected characteristics, or constitutes harassment. Keep it about the game, not the person.
4. Account Integrity
- • One Account Per Person: Each individual may maintain only one (1) ReDuel account. Multi-accounting is detected and results in permanent ban of all associated accounts
- • No Account Sharing: Your account is for your exclusive use. Sharing login credentials is prohibited
- • No Account Trading: Buying, selling, or transferring accounts is prohibited
- • Authentic Identity: KYC-verified information must be truthful. Submitting fraudulent identification documents is a criminal offense
- • No VPN Evasion: Using VPNs, proxies, or similar tools to circumvent geographic restrictions, bans, or KYC requirements is prohibited
5. Creator Standards
Verified Creators are held to higher standards as they are the face of the Platform.
- • Authentic Metrics: Do not artificially inflate follower counts, view counts, or engagement through bots or paid services
- • Platform Compliance: Comply with the Terms of Service of all connected streaming platforms (Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Kick)
- • Professional Conduct: Represent the gaming community positively. Behavior that damages the ReDuel brand may result in Creator status revocation
- • Conflict Disclosure: Disclose any conflicts of interest in challenges (e.g., playing against a teammate, partner, or roommate)
- • Content Standards: Stream content during challenges must comply with these Community Guidelines and the streaming platform's community guidelines
6. Referral System Integrity
- • Referral codes must be shared with real, unique individuals
- • Creating fake accounts to farm referral credits is prohibited
- • Using bots, paid traffic, or incentivized signup services to generate referrals is prohibited
- • Referral fraud will result in forfeiture of all earned credits and account termination
7. Financial Integrity
- • Do not use the Platform for money laundering, terrorist financing, or any illegal financial activity
- • Do not use stolen payment methods, credit cards, or bank accounts
- • Do not structure transactions to avoid currency transaction reporting thresholds ($10,000 federal requirement)
- • Report bugs or errors in credit calculations or payouts promptly — exploiting payment glitches is prohibited
- • Chargebacks initiated fraudulently will result in permanent account termination and may be referred to law enforcement
8. Enforcement & Penalties
Enforcement actions are applied based on severity, frequency, and impact. We employ a tiered system:
Tier 1 — Warning
For minor or first-time infractions (e.g., mild spam, borderline trash talk). Users receive a formal warning documented on their account. Repeat Tier 1 violations escalate to Tier 2.
Tier 2 — Temporary Suspension (24h–30 days)
For repeated minor infractions or moderate violations (e.g., harassment, metric inflation, referral abuse). Access to predictions, challenges, and social features is suspended. Credits remain frozen during suspension.
Tier 3 — Credit Forfeiture & Extended Suspension (30–90 days)
For serious violations (e.g., market manipulation, cheating in matches, fraudulent KYC). All credits earned through violation may be permanently forfeited. Creator status may be revoked.
Tier 4 — Permanent Ban
For severe violations (e.g., threats of violence, match-fixing, money laundering, child exploitation, doxxing). Account permanently terminated. All funds and credits forfeited (except where prohibited by law). Reported to law enforcement and/or regulators where applicable. IP, device, and payment method banned.
8.1 Appeals
Users may appeal enforcement actions (except Tier 4 zero-tolerance violations) by contacting appeals@reduel.xyz within fourteen (14) days of the action. Appeals are reviewed by a senior member of the Compliance team and are resolved within thirty (30) business days. The decision on appeal is final.
9. Reporting Violations
We rely on the community to help maintain a safe environment. To report a violation:
- • In-Platform: Use the report button available on profiles, messages, and match pages
- • Email: report@reduel.xyz
- • Match Integrity: integrity@reduel.xyz
Include the following when reporting: username(s) involved, date and time of the incident, description of the violation, and any supporting evidence (screenshots, clips, URLs). All reports are reviewed confidentially. Retaliation against reporters is a Tier 3 violation.
10. Updates to These Guidelines
We may update these Community Guidelines as the Platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform and email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Guidelines.
