Responsible Gaming
Effective Date: March 14, 2026 · Last Updated: March 14, 2026
At ReDuel, we believe gaming should be entertaining, competitive, and always within your control. We are committed to promoting responsible gaming practices and providing tools to help you maintain a healthy relationship with prediction markets and wagering. If gaming stops being fun, it's time to step back.
1. Our Commitment
We are dedicated to:
- • Providing a safe, fair, and transparent gaming environment
- • Empowering users with tools to control their gaming activity
- • Preventing underage participation through strict age verification
- • Protecting vulnerable individuals through proactive detection and intervention
- • Training all customer-facing staff in responsible gaming awareness
- • Supporting evidence-based research on responsible gaming
- • Continuously improving our responsible gaming program
2. Player Control Tools
We provide the following self-management tools, accessible from your account settings at any time:
2.1 Deposit Limits
Set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits. Decreases take effect immediately. Increases require a twenty-four (24) hour cooling-off period before taking effect, giving you time to reconsider.
2.2 Loss Limits
Set a maximum net loss threshold per day, week, or month. Once reached, further wagering is blocked for the remainder of the period. You will receive a notification when approaching 80% of your limit.
2.3 Wager Limits
Set a maximum wager amount per prediction. This prevents any single prediction from exceeding your comfort level.
2.4 Session Time Limits
Set time-based reminders or hard limits for your gaming sessions. When your time limit is reached, you will receive a notification showing your session duration and net activity. Hard limits will restrict predictions until the next period.
2.5 Reality Checks
Receive periodic notifications displaying: total time spent on the Platform, total predictions placed, net win/loss for the session, and deposit activity. Reality checks can be configured at 30-minute, 1-hour, or 2-hour intervals.
3. Cooling-Off Periods
If you need a break, you can activate a Cooling-Off Period from your account settings. During a Cooling-Off Period:
- • All wagering and prediction market access is suspended
- • Deposits are blocked
- • You can still access your account to view history and process withdrawals
- • Marketing communications and promotional notifications are paused
Available durations: 24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. Cooling-Off Periods take effect immediately and cannot be reversed before the selected duration expires.
4. Self-Exclusion
Self-Exclusion is a serious and binding commitment for users who need extended protection from gaming activity.
4.1 Voluntary Self-Exclusion
You can voluntarily self-exclude for a minimum period of six (6) months, one (1) year, three (3) years, or five (5) years. During self-exclusion:
- • Your account is fully locked — no predictions, deposits, or social features
- • All marketing and promotional materials are permanently suppressed
- • Pending withdrawals are processed within the standard timeframe
- • Remaining credits or balances are handled per your instructions (withdrawal or forfeit)
- • You will not be able to create a new account during the exclusion period
Self-Exclusion is irrevocable for the selected duration. After the exclusion period expires, reinstatement requires a written request and a 24-hour waiting period.
4.2 Permanent Self-Exclusion
Permanent self-exclusion is available and is irreversible. Your account will be permanently closed and you will be prohibited from creating a new account. To request permanent self-exclusion, contact responsible-gaming@reduel.xyz.
4.3 State Self-Exclusion Programs
Many states maintain their own self-exclusion registries for gaming. If you are enrolled in a state self-exclusion program, please notify us and we will ensure your restrictions are honored on our Platform. We check against available state exclusion lists where applicable.
5. Recognizing Problem Gambling
Gambling should always be a form of entertainment. If you recognize any of the following signs in yourself, we encourage you to use our self-management tools or seek professional help:
- • Spending more time or money on predictions than you can afford
- • Chasing losses by placing larger or more frequent predictions
- • Borrowing money or selling possessions to fund gaming activity
- • Neglecting personal responsibilities, work, or relationships due to gaming
- • Feeling anxious, irritable, or restless when not gaming
- • Lying to family or friends about the extent of your gaming
- • Attempting to win back losses as a primary motivation
- • Continuing to play despite negative financial or emotional consequences
- • Difficulty sticking to self-imposed limits
